The OnePlus 15 and 15R use the latest Qualcomm processors, with the OnePlus 15 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and the OnePlus 15R using a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Although both chips are from Qualcomm's Gen 5 series, the OnePlus 15's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the more powerful of the two.
The OnePlus 15R maxes out at 512GB of storage, while the OnePlus 15 offers a 1TB variant. Additionally, the OnePlus 15R is only available with 12GB of RAM, a technical downgrade compared to the 16GB variant of the OnePlus 13R.
Cameras: Downgrades and New Technologies
Both the OnePlus 15 and 15R have undergone camera changes. The OnePlus 15 retains Hasselblad image processing but has a slightly lower-resolution display with a higher 165Hz refresh rate.
