Arunachal Pradesh Youths to Represent State at Skills Competition
Three talented individuals from Arunachal Pradesh are all set to showcase their skills at the upcoming regional skills competition in Guwahati, Assam. Their participation in this prestigious event, scheduled from 19 to 22 January, signifies a significant step towards putting Arunachal Pradesh on the national skill map.
Candidates and Their Expertise
The three candidates selected to represent Arunachal Pradesh are Nemcha Janpi in floristry, Narang Tailyang in cooking, and Maga Rina in restaurant service. Each of these young individuals has demonstrated exceptional talent in their respective fields.
Preparing for the Competition
Prior to the competition, the three candidates will undergo an intensive three-day specialized training session. Two candidates will travel to Bangalore for training, while one will be trained in Itanagar. This rigorous training is aimed at honing their skills and preparing them for the challenges ahead.

The Deputy Director of the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department (SDED), Gyati Kacho, expressed his enthusiasm about the participation of these three youths. The India Skills Competition
The India Skills Competition is a biennial event organized by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). This competition aims to demonstrate the highest standards of proficiency and provide a platform for youths to showcase their talent.
The regional competition will be held in Guwahati, while the national competition will be held in New Delhi. The international competition is scheduled to take place in China. All expenses for the participants are borne by the MSDE.
