A Major Religious Event in North East India
The Achik Baptist Dalgipa Krima (ABDK), also known as the Garo Grand religious Baptist Convention, is taking place from February 5 to 8 in Moamari, North Garo Hills District of Meghalaya. This significant religious event is expected to attract over 3 lakh faithful on its penultimate day, scheduled for February 8.

Apart from 345 churches from Garo Hills, about 1100 delegates, including those from various parts of Assam, Nagaland, and other regions of the North East, will participate in the four-day event. The logistical requirements for the event are estimated to cost around Rs 40 to Rs 50 lakh.
