Analysis: WhatsApp-based citizen service platform launched in Keyi Panyor

Digital Services Revolution in Keyi Panyor, Arunachal Pradesh

Revolutionizing Government Services in Keyi Panyor: A Digital Leap

In a significant stride towards digital transformation, the Keyi Panyor district administration of Arunachal Pradesh has launched Keyi Panyor Suvidha, a WhatsApp-based citizen service platform. This initiative aims to streamline access to government services and enhance last-mile service delivery.

Simplifying Service Delivery

The new platform offers a shift towards digital and online services, eliminating the need for applicants to physically visit offices for signature purposes. Instead, digitally signed certificates are generated and made available for direct service, making the process more efficient and contactless.

Interactive Sessions and Awareness

An interactive session was conducted during the awareness programme, addressing queries related to verification procedures, certification, and service delivery. The deputy commissioner, additional deputy commissioner, and circle officer were present to address these concerns.

Empowering Local Communities

The programme was attended by around 100 participants, including ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, and representatives of market associations. These local workers will play a crucial role in spreading awareness about the new service platform and facilitating its use within their communities.

Regional and National Implications

This digital initiative in Keyi Panyor is part of a broader trend towards digitization in government services across India. By making services more accessible and efficient, these digital platforms can help bridge the gap between citizens and the government, particularly in remote areas like those in North East India.

Looking Ahead

The successful implementation of Keyi Panyor Suvidha in Keyi Panyor district offers a promising model for other districts in Arunachal Pradesh and beyond. As more Indians embrace digital platforms, we can expect to see a rise in the adoption of such services, improving the efficiency and accessibility of government services for all.
