On January 26, 2026, around 23 kilometers under Kangchup Police Station, suspected ZUF cadres allegedly attacked K. Songlung Part II village, burning down three houses, four makeshift huts, and destroying valuable belongings. The village chief, Shemkholal Haokip, and his family members had to flee the area before the attack.
