By educating its residents, particularly women, the programme contributes to empowering them, enabling them to navigate the complex legal system more effectively and assert their rights when necessary.

The impact of such programmes extends beyond the immediate community. By creating a more informed and empowered citizenry, legal awareness initiatives pave the way for a more just and equitable society. As more programmes like this are organized across North East India and the rest of the country, we can expect to see a gradual shift towards a more rights-conscious society, where everyone is aware of their legal entitlements and is empowered to protect and assert them.
