In the northeastern state of Manipur, a conflict that has raged for over two and a half years has raised concerns about the preservation of the region's 2,000-year-old history. Former UNLF chief Ningthemcha Sanayaima, also known as RK Meghen, recently spoke out against this conflict, describing it as a desperate attempt to eradicate the Meitei people with the backing of a powerful force supporting Kuki militants.
