In the first match, HIL GC outplayed Shrachi Bengal Tigers, securing a 6-3 win at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai. Kane Russell was the star of the show, scoring a hat-trick for HIL GC. The Tigers took an early lead through Jugraj Singh's penalty stroke, but HIL GC responded strongly, scoring twice in quick succession before halftime.

The second half was dominated by HIL GC, with Russell adding another penalty corner goal and Sudeep Chirmako finding the net from open play. The Tigers briefly fought back, but Russell completed his hat-trick, and James Albery scored into an empty net to confirm the result.

Hyderabad Toofans' Remarkable Comeback against Ranchi Royals

In the second fixture of the day, Hyderabad Toofans staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Ranchi Royals 3-2. Ranchi Royals held a commanding 2-0 lead at halftime, thanks to Tom Boon's brace.
