On the other hand, FKS Group, an American conglomerate, will establish a team in Hyderabad, another city in Pakistan, for approximately $6.2 million.

It is worth noting that Multan Sultans, one of the existing PSL teams, will be managed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) this year before being put up for sale after the PSL season concludes in April. The former owner, Ali Tareen, who had differences with the PSL management, was eligible to bid for the new teams but decided against it. Tareen expressed his intentions to return to the PSL only if it aligns with his affinity for South Punjab, his home region.
