Revolutionary Smart Glasses Impress at CES 2026

As AI and wearable tech continue to dominate the tech landscape, the latest innovations were on full display at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. Among the standout products were smart glasses, which pushed the boundaries of their predecessors with longer battery lives, more functionalities, increased comfort, and more. In this article, we highlight the three most advanced smart glasses that truly impressed our editors.

1. RayNeo Air 4 Pro

Kicking off our list is the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, the world's first HDR10-enabled smart glasses. Our Senior Editor, Kerry Wan, had the opportunity to try them on ahead of CES week. The glasses feature a dedicated image quality chip and boast a 120Hz refresh rate, offering visuals with more brightness and pop than most pairs he's worn over the years. Despite weighing just 76 grams, they don't compromise on performance, offering immersive audio tuned by Bang & Olufsen.

2. Rokid AI Glasses Style

The Rokid AI Glasses Style, reviewed by Contributing Writer Prakhar Khanna, caught our attention for their lightweight design and the addition of nose pads. Their functionality is similar to the Meta Ray-Ban Glasses, with a camera, open-ear speakers, and mics integrated into a pair of sunglasses. While they are rated to last up to 12 hours, there's no charging case, requiring users to carry a dongle wire. Despite the proprietary charging mechanism, they undercut the Meta glasses at $299, making them more affordable and comfortable for extended wear.

3. XGIMI Memomind glasses

The XGIMI Memomind AI glasses, reviewed by Prakhar Khanna, are similar in design to the Even Realities G1. They have one display on each lens, which can be used to view the dashboard, navigate, chat with their AI, and more. The glasses are comfortable to wear and feature a responsive user interface and MicroLED brightness inside the lenses. At $599, they're $100 cheaper than their Even Realities rival and come in more styles.

A Glimpse into the Future for North East India

The advancements in smart glasses showcased at CES 2026 hold significant implications for the tech industry, particularly in North East India. As wearable tech continues to evolve, we can expect to see increased adoption in various sectors, from healthcare to education. For example, smart glasses could revolutionize the way healthcare professionals diagnose and treat patients, or enable teachers to interact more effectively with students in remote areas. The potential applications are endless, and it's an exciting time for technology enthusiasts in the region.
