Why the Latest Windows Update Matters for North East India

This bug affects Windows 11 25H2, Windows 10 22H2 ESU, and Windows Server 2025.
Resolution and Qualification
Microsoft addressed this bug with an out-of-band patch released on Jan. 17. However, the fix will only appear in Windows Update if your version of Windows qualifies and is affected by the specific issue.
Secure Launch Restarts and Freezes
Another glitch affecting Windows 11 23H2 systems with Secure Launch enabled causes systems to restart instead of shutting down or entering hibernation mode. Similar to Secure Boot, Secure Launch protects your PC from bootkit malware. This bug has also been resolved with the Jan. 17 patch.
Qualification and Update Availability
As with the remote desktop bug, the fix for the Secure Launch issue will only appear in Windows Update if your Windows version qualifies and your computer is affected.
Classic Outlook Freeze
Caused by the Jan. 13 update, the third bug affects the classic version of Microsoft Outlook, causing it to freeze upon opening. Emails do not appear in the Sent Items folder, and Outlook keeps re-ending. This bug has not yet been addressed by Microsoft.
